Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
2-4 years of experience in production planning or related field
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) required
Experience with Syspro preferred.

Basic Function:

• Plans and establishes production schedules. Responsible for initiating production orders
• Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules
• Works closely with Finance to ensure inventory accuracy and forecast production
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a high volume manufacturing environment
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Works under general supervision
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Some travel may be required (10-20%, primarily to California)
