THE TEAM

BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Kevin Landis

Kevin Landis is Firsthand's Chief Investment Officer and currently manages Firsthand's technology and alternative energy sector mutual funds.

Prior to co-founding Firsthand Capital Management, Inc., in 1993, Kevin built a career in the technology industry. While at Dataquest and S-MOS systems, Kevin developed a vision of combining industry insight with strong fundamental analysis to create Firsthand Funds. Now, with more than a decade of technology sector investment experience, Kevin is one of the nation's best-known portfolio managers for high-tech funds. Kevin has appeared on CNN, CNBC, and FoxNews, and has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Smart Money, Time, and Money magazines.

Kevin earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley and a master's degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.

Solaicx has assembled a team of proven professionals with multiple decades of experience in silicon crystal growing, photovoltaic product development, large-scale manufacturing operations and the successful build-up and exit of several venture backed start-ups.

All team members possess experience in managing effective relationships with large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

The Solaicx team specifically includes Dave Bender, one of the world's leading experts in designing and building CZ silicon crystal growers.
